RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR THE
SUSSEX COUNTY SCIENCE FAIR (SCSF)

ELIGIBILITY/LIMITATIONS:

• All students from grades 6 through 12 in all Sussex County Schools (public, private, charter, religious, technical) are eligible to participate in the SCSF. Team projects at all grade levels are not eligible to participate in the SCSF. Winners at the SCSF are eligible to participate in the Delaware Valley Science Fair (DVSF), which is a tri-state science fair. Medal winners at the DVSF are eligible to participate in the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).

• Each student may enter only one project. That project may include no more than 12 months of continuous research and may not include research performed before January 2012.

• A research project may be a part of a larger study performed by professional scientists, but the project presented by the student must be only their own portion of the complete study.
